Chapter History

Alpha Xi Delta, Gamma chapter, was founded on April 17, 1902 at the University of Mount Union. Being the third chapter of AXiD, we have a lot of history, including one of the original Founders of Alpha Xi Delta, Cora Block Bollinger, signing our charter. We believe in keeping our history alive, because our past is what makes us the organization we are today.
                                         

120th Anniversary

On April 2nd and 3rd, 2022, the Gamma chapter hosted its 120th Anniversary celebration. 2022 marks the 120th year that Alpha Xi Delta has been present on Mount Union's campus. Being the oldest, largest chapter of Alpha Xi Delta, we had a lot to celebrate! Stories from alumnae were told, a rededication ceremony took place and sisters had the chance to reconnect with one another. It was a truly amaXIng event and we loved spending time with all of our sisters!

121st Anniversary

Our chapter celebrated our 121st Anniversary April 27th, 2023. We invited our alumni to come back to the house for a tour and to share stories with our active members. We had coffee and donuts and loved hearing about past stories and sharing the memories with all of our sisters!
